The growing population of aging Canadians has led to an increased focus on the needs and interests of Canadian elders across the country

Seniors Connect, in the city of Nanaimo, is a collaborative project focused on reducing the social isolation of adults aged 55 and over through participation in local activities, increased community connection and providing older adults meaningful opportunities for engagement.

 

LOVE CRN participated in the Seniors Connect Nanaimo public expo on October 1, 2018 to kick off Seniors Celebrate Month, with 35 tables and dozens of people comprising the breadth of the Nanaimo project’s impact and reach.
